Spending Money to Save Money: Investing in Energy Efficiency

Our colleagues at the Kentucky Sustainable Energy Alliance have highlighted the findings of a recent report by the Consumer Federation of America, showing how energy efficiency can save families–in Kentucky and elsewhere–money through investing in home retrofits. The lead author of the report, Mark Cooper, estimates that Kentuckians investing in efficiency measures could enjoy a net savings of $60 a year on natural gas bills.
