The Connecting People to Public Issues workshop will be held on April 18 in Triadelphia, WV. This workshop, co-sponsored by WV Center for Civic Life, West Liberty University Social Work Programand WVU Division of Social Work, is designed for anyone interested in learning about engaging the public in community issues. Participants will learn about how public judgment develops and will experience a variety of civic engagement techniques that are being used successfully in WV today. Participants will leave with a notebook of handouts that includes descriptions of many techniques in use today in this country and around the world.
